They set a goal together and Powell makes sure that they meet it. When Powell leaves, hes set them on the right course. He gives the participant a tough three month goal to meet and promises a big reward if they meet it. He keeps apprised of their progress via regular video updates. Its not uncommon for the participant to encounter tough challenges that can derail their efforts. Sometimes they meet the goal and get the prize and sometimes not. In the case of the latter, Powell does what he can to get them back on track. At the end of one year, the participants transformation is unveiled at a big party with friends and family members.
